Who We Are?

Inspired by this revelation, Kimberly proposed a creative idea to Stephen. She suggested they work with the Maasai community to teach them how to grow and use sunflowers as a natural deterrent, thus protecting both the elephants and the Maasai farms. Enthusiastic about the potential positive impact, Stephen and Kimberly embarked on this new journey, combining their passion for wildlife conservation and community development to create a sustainable solution for the Maasai Mara.

Stephen and Kimberly met in the breathtaking Maasai Mara in Kenya, where Stephen is a knowledgeable and passionate guide. Stephen has driven Kimberly on numerous game drives, sharing captivating stories about the diverse wildlife and the rich culture of the Maasai people. Their bond grew as they explored the vast savannahs, observing lions, elephants, and other magnificent animals.

Even after Kimberly left the Mara, they stayed in close contact, their conversations bridging the miles between them. A year later, Kimberly returned, eager to reunite with Stephen and continue their adventures. Together, they visited the Mara Elephant Project, where they discovered fascinating research showing that elephants tend to avoid sunflowers.
